The SPLC has ‘got our back’

Journalism, Social Media

Earlier today I, along with several other Crimson White staffers,  had the opportunity to speak with Frank LoMonte, director of the Student Press Law Center (SPLC). He spoke on a variety of legal issues student newspapers across the country were being confronted by.

LoMonte’s talk later this evening should be even more interesting. He’ll speak on social media and censorship and some sort of social media hoopla in Minnesota in an event entitled “Censorship 2.0: What School Control Over Students’ Online Speech Mean for Journalism.”
